About the creator:

Elsa Adams
I have been in love with three things my whole life: books, nature, and dogs. Books are first for a reason, because stories can transport us and teach us in a way nothing else can. Whether being dragged to a sporting event or alone in my room, I never went anywhere without a book.
One of the most influential authors of my life will always be Dr. Seuss. His books are so playful and fun that the words and images inspire imaginations to this day. However, he also managed to create short stories with messages so deep that even adults consistently receive his books as presents. That’s the kind of children’s books I long to create, ones filled with joy but also filled with lessons. When it comes to creating children's books I want to combine dynamic, engaging characters with messages of self-discovery and encouragement of individuality. I would love to create an abundance of books for young humans that contain messages of acceptance and love.
Special Experience
I have a degree in English Education, with a focus on pedagogical grammar. I have experience teaching at multiple levels from preschool to college level, but spent a majority of my teaching career in the ESL field. I also have an independent drive for research and study, especially when it comes to art, history, literature, philosophy, and sociocultural history. I studied art and practiced painting throughout high school and college, also for years independently. I also have the practical abilities of accepting criticism and critique with open ears, mental fortitude to push through on the days when work doesn't come as easily, and an eagerness to always be improving.
